We are always very excited to welcome Matt to our school. As our Reading Patron from 2019, he works with children across all the year groups developing their love of reading and writing and inspiring them to create characters and write their own stories. 

He attended our annual Reading Picnic at the end of the summer term and read to groups of children from his latest book. 

Our Festival of Writing competition with our link schools was judged by Matt and he awarded medals to winners in a range of categories. 

Matt continues to inspire us all and, despite the restrictions, has stayed in touch. He enjoyed the work that children sent to him during the first lockdown and is back again with a new challenge for all the children. Listen to him on the video link and complete Matt's challenge.
