Policies and Procedures

School policies and procedures cover every aspect of school life. Below are some of the most important documents for your reference. If you would like a copy of a policy or would like to know our policy or procedure on something that is not listed, please ask the School Office.

We believe that education is a collaborative enterprise involving parents, staff, children, governors, the Local Authority and a range of other agencies. We are committed to establishing and maintaining an effective and purposeful working relationship between home and school.

We recognise the importance of ensuring we have a strong partnership with families of children in our school, and value their involvement in the life of the school. Throughout our policies the term’ parent’ is used for ease. This should be taken to mean any adult with responsibility for a child in our school.

Plesase note in the policies 'Parent(s)' is a wide reference not only to a pupil's birth parents but to adoptive, step and foster parents, or other persons who have parental responsibility for, or who have care of, a pupil.
